Why You'll Love It
The Feel of the Place
Herriman was settled in 1851 as Fort Herriman and incorporated in 1999. It grew from about 1,500 residents in 2000 to 63,000+ today, so most homes are 21st-century. Herriman Towne Center has City Hall and J. Lynn Crane Park (splash pad, winter ice skating and an amphitheater), and The Commons at Towne Center, with 200,000+ sq ft of shops and dining, broke ground in 2025.
Outdoors, there's Butterfield Canyon, the Rose and Yellow Fork Canyon trails and Blackridge Reservoir's beach. Zions Bank Real Academy, the training home of Real Salt Lake and the Utah Royals, is in Herriman, and Fort Herriman Towne Days is the summer celebration.
The Mountain View Corridor now connects to Lehi (opened December 2025). Joshua Sterling, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Associates, has helped a family buy a home in Herriman.
