Why You'll Love It
The Feel of the Place
Riverton was settled in the mid-1850s as "Gardnersville" and renamed in 1879. The Old Dome Meeting Hall at the City Park entrance is a 2015 replica of the 1908 Dome Church designed by Utah State Capitol architect Richard Kletting, and Riverton Town Days around the Fourth of July (rodeo, parade, carnival, chuckwagon breakfast and fireworks) is the big community event.
Bangerter Highway, the Mountain View Corridor and Redwood Road all run through the city, and the Mountain View Corridor connection to Lehi opened in December 2025. Intermountain Riverton Hospital and Mountain View Village, an open-air shopping and dining center, are in town.
Housing ranges from townhomes near the Mountain View Corridor to established family neighborhoods and new estate homes. Joshua Sterling, REALTOR® with RE/MAX Associates, has helped a family sell a home in Riverton.

We recommend confirming attendance boundaries and school assignments directly with the district before purchasing a home.
